The Redhead Minimalist is a minimalist mom who teaches busy families and individuals how to create simple daily routines to keep their house tidy and organized to think clearer and feel calmer.

I'm Katie, a mom and military spouse, and I actually love being home. Home is a place I intentionally create to bring joy to my life and peace to my soul. As someone who knows the weight of anxiety very well, I discovered that decluttering helped pull me out of an anxiety slump so I could manage my home without overwhelm. Military life often leads to challenging situations such as long deployments and long distances from families.

I create simple systems and solutions to everyday overwhelm for busy moms so they can create a space they love - all while feeling accomplished, organized, and calm. With 14 years as a military spouse and a mom of two, I have learned to declutter, organize and create functional systems that work for my family.  

Decluttering helped pull me out an anxious slump so I could manage my home without overwhelm.
